Age of The Nerd
San Diego Comic-Con was already buzzing, but the Peacefest VIP Party took things to a whole new level of wild, weird, and absolutely wonderful. Hosted in celebration of Peacemaker Season Two, the invite-only bash brought together hardcore fans, celebrity guests, and music lovers alike for a night of chaos, camaraderie, and hair-whipping rock ‘n’ roll.
At the center of it all? The explosive, theatrical return of Foxy Shazam introduced to the stage by James Gunn himself, who tore up the stage with their signature blend of glam-punk energy and devil-may-care charisma. Not only did they deliver a set that had the crowd bouncing off the walls, but fans got to hear their electrifying new track—the official opening credits song for Peacemaker Season Two—live for the first time. Spoiler: it’s a banger. Packed with swagger, wailing vocals, and enough sonic fireworks to make an eagle fist-bump, it perfectly captures the chaotic soul of the series.

And just when everyone thought the night had peaked, boom!—the Mighty Crabjoys hit the stage for a surprise set that blew the roof off the joint.

The night kept the throttle wide open with a full-blown metal mayhem performance from Steel Panther, who brought their signature satirical 80s glam-rock vibes and unapologetically loud showmanship. Between blistering guitar solos, comedic stage banter, and more hairspray than a 1989 prom, they had the entire crowd howling with laughter and banging their heads.

The Peacefest VIP experience wasn’t just about the music. The venue was decked out with over-the-top Peacemaker Season Two decor, including a replica of Eagly’s nest, Peacemaker’s motorcycle, replica helmets, a photo booth and so much more!
Between the powerhouse performances and the immersive Peacemaker world-building, the Peacefest VIP Party delivered exactly what fans wanted: wild energy, heart-thumping music, and an unapologetic celebration of one of TV’s most chaotic heroes. If this party is any indication, Peacemaker Season Two is about to blow the doors off.
Final Verdict: 11/10. Justice never sounded so good.
