San Diego Comic-Con 2025 was already bursting with energy, but Peacefest—the high-octane activation celebrating the upcoming second season of Peacemaker—took things to an entirely new level of awesome. Part mini-concert, part action-packed carnival, part fever dream from James Gunn’s brain, Peacefest was the kind of immersive fan experience that had everyone talking long after the smoke cleared.
Located just outside the convention center in a neon-drenched plaza of patriotic mayhem, Peacefest transported fans into Peacemaker’s chaotic world. Giant banners of John Cena’s ridiculously intense mug towered above the crowd, while bombastic rock music and flashing red-white-and-blue lights set the tone. Peacemaker’s helmets and motorcycle were on full display as well! Whether you were a longtime fan of the show or a curious con-goer lured in by the thumping bass, once you stepped into Peacefest, you belonged.

Final Verdict:
Peacefest was more than just a marketing stunt—it was a love letter to Peacemaker fans, filled with tongue-in-cheek patriotism, absurd humor, and pure adrenaline. It perfectly captured the anarchic, heartfelt chaos of the show itself. If this activation is any hint at what’s coming in Season Two, we’re in for a wild, headbanging, Eagly-hugging ride.
Let’s just say it: Peacemaker is back, baby—and Peacefest was the glorious, glitter-bombed kickoff it deserved.
