Coming off a celebrated premiere at the New York Film Festival and an ongoing global tour, 20th Century Studios has dropped the final trailer for Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, director Scott Cooper’s highly anticipated biopic that dives deep into the making of Bruce Springsteen’s landmark 1982 album Nebraska.
The film promises an intimate look at the man behind the music, exploring a transformative moment in Springsteen’s life when he recorded Nebraska entirely on a four-track recorder in his New Jersey bedroom. The stark, haunting acoustic album—filled with characters wrestling with hope and despair—remains one of Springsteen’s most powerful and enduring works.
Jeremy Allen White (The Bear) takes on the role of “The Boss,” leading a stellar ensemble cast that includes Jeremy Strong as Springsteen’s longtime manager Jon Landau, Paul Walter Hauser as guitar tech Mike Batlan, Odessa Young as Faye, Stephen Graham as Springsteen’s father Doug, Gaby Hoffman as his mother Adele, and David Krumholtz as Columbia Records executive Al Teller.
Adapted from Warren Zanes’ acclaimed book of the same name, Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere is produced by Scott Cooper, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Eric Robinson, and Scott Stuber, with Tracey Landon, Jon F. Vein, and Zanes serving as executive producers. The creative team also includes composer Jeremiah Fraites, cinematographer Masanobu Takayanagi, production designer Stefania Cella, costume designer Kasia Walicka-Maimone, and editor Pamela Martin.
Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere opens exclusively in theaters and IMAX on October 24.
