“IT: Welcome To Derry” Is Coming To Max Next Year

It: Welcome to Derry is an upcoming American horror television series developed by Andy and Barbara Muschietti alongside Jason Fuchs. It is a prequel to the film It and It Chapter Two, based on Stephen King’s 1986 novel It.  Bill Skarsgård will return as the killer clown Pennywise.

A couple of Sundays ago, right before the season finale of House of Dragon began, fans watching were surprised to see a trailer for upcoming series and movies coming to HBO Max. During the trailer, fans got a first look at It: Welcome to Derry, which just finished production a few weeks ago.

The prequel series featuring Pennywise has been in production for a few years. Besides Bill Skarsgard returning as Pennywise, director  Andy Muschietti will direct a couple of episodes. It was recently announced that the series will consist of nine episodes and will stream on HBO Max in 2025. Who is excited to see Pennywise back?
