Age of The Nerd
Calling all creatures of the night! đ§ââď¸ The Vampire Lestat: One Night Only LIVE is coming to AMC+ on Sunday, August 23, giving fans a front-row seat to the spectacular premiere event that took over New York Cityâs legendary Beacon Theatre earlier this summer.
Celebrating the premiere of AMCâs highly anticipated series The Vampire Lestat, the standing-room-only live performance brings the dark, decadent world of Lestat to the stage in a seriously electrifying way. And yes, Sam Reid is taking center stage!
Sam Reid Brings Lestat to Life
The one-night-only event features original music from series composer Daniel Hart, performed live by Reid, who stars as the charismatic and dangerously rebellious vampire himself.
If youâve been craving even more of Lestatâs rock-star energy, supernatural swagger, and larger-than-life personality, this is one performance you definitely wonât want to miss. The live event offers fans a chance to experience the music of The Vampire Lestat in an entirely new way.
And considering Lestat himself is at the center of the performance, you can probably expect plenty of theatrical vampire drama.
What Is The Vampire Lestat About?
Based on the iconic world created by Anne Rice, The Vampire Lestat follows Lestat de Lioncourt as he embarks on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by the âmusesâ from his wild and rebellious past.
As Lestatâs band becomes increasingly popular, his fame begins to take on a supernatural life of its own. His growing influence extends beyond humans and into the vampire world, putting him at the center of a rapidly changing supernatural landscape.
That becomes particularly dangerous as the Great Conversion unleashes an unnatural surge in the vampire population, forcing vampires and humans alike to reckon with Lestatâs growing power.
In other words: rock ‘n’ roll, vampires, supernatural chaos, and Lestat being Lestat. What could possibly go wrong?
The Vampire Lestat Cast
Sam Reid returns as Lestat, joined by an impressive ensemble that includes Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Sheila Atim, Delainey Hayles, and Jennifer Ehle.
Behind the scenes, the series features an equally impressive creative team. Award-winning producer Mark Johnson, creator, writer, and showrunner Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice serve as executive producers.
And if youâre already invested in AMCâs Anne Rice Immortal Universe, thereâs even more reason to tune in. The Vampire Lestat and the first two seasons of Interview with the Vampire are currently streaming on AMC+.
