Forget carols and cocoa—Snoop Dogg is about to own Christmas Day.
Netflix just announced that the Doggfather himself will headline Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party, the halftime show during the Lions vs. Vikings matchup on NFL Christmas Gameday, streaming live on December 25. Broadcasting straight from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, the performance will beam Snoop’s signature West Coast swagger to more than 300 million Netflix members worldwide.
When the Vikings and Lions head into halftime, the football stops—and the party starts. Expect chart-topping hits, festive flair, surprise guests, and the kind of laid-back cool only Snoop can deliver.
“NFL, Netflix, and your uncle Snoop on Christmas Day?” Snoop said in a statement. “We’re servin’ up music, love, and good vibes for the whole world. That’s the kind of holiday magic Santa can’t fit in a bag.”
Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria echoed the excitement, calling the collaboration the ultimate holiday flex. “Christmas Gameday just got a whole lot cooler,” she said, promising the hottest halftime show of the season. And yes—she did say they’re ready to “drop it like it’s hot.”
To mark the occasion, Netflix also dropped a special announcement video narrated by funk legend George Clinton, because of course they did.
A Christmas Gameday Tradition—Now With Extra Swagger
NFL Christmas Gameday returns to Netflix in 2025 with two marquee matchups:
-
Cowboys vs. Commanders at 1 PM ET
-
Lions vs. Vikings at 4:30 PM ET, featuring Snoop’s halftime takeover
Pregame coverage kicks off at 11 AM ET, making it a full day of football, vibes, and holiday chaos.
Last year, Netflix made waves with Beyoncé’s Emmy-nominated halftime performance, and Snoop’s Holiday Halftime Party looks ready to raise the bar once again. The show is produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment, the powerhouse behind some of the most iconic live music moments in TV history.
Add in festive holiday jersey patches (yes, candy canes are involved), nationwide broadcasts, and Netflix’s ever-growing sports ambitions—and Christmas Day just became appointment viewing.
🎁 Bottom line: This year, the hottest gift under the tree isn’t wrapped—it’s streaming. And Snoop Dogg is bringing the party.
