‘Haunted Hotel’ Checks Back In for Season 2 on Netflix

Grab your room key and maybe a sage stick—because Haunted Hotel is officially coming back for a second season on Netflix! Just in time for spooky season, the adult animated comedy is keeping the lights on with a batch of eerie new posters to celebrate its renewal.

The series, which just launched last week, wasted no time making itself at home on the Global English TV Top 10 list. Clearly, fans couldn’t resist checking into a hotel where the amenities include sarcasm, chaos, and, oh yeah… ghosts with opinions.

Created by Matt Roller (Rick & Morty), the series comes with a powerhouse of executive producers including Chris McKenna, Dan Harmon (Rick & Morty), Steve Levy, and Roller himself. Animation wizards Titmouse (the studio behind some of your favorite offbeat animated hits) bring the series to life, with Chris and Shannon Prynoski, Antonio Canobbio, and Ben Kalina also serving as executive producers. Erica Hayes (Rick & Morty) keeps things running smoothly—or as smoothly as possible when your hotel guests don’t exactly have pulses—as supervising director.

The voice cast is equally stacked: Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides, and Jimmi Simpson all lend their talents to the series’ ghoulishly funny ensemble.

For the uninitiated, Season 1 introduced viewers to a single mom juggling two kids, a haunted hotel, and her estranged brother—who also happens to be dead and one of the ghosts permanently checked in. (On the plus side, he thinks the other ghosts have some pretty solid ideas. On the minus side… well, he’s still dead.)

With Season 2 officially on the horizon, Haunted Hotel is doubling down on its mix of creepy, kooky, and surprisingly heartfelt humor. So, if you haven’t booked your stay yet, now might be the perfect time to check in—just don’t expect late checkout.
