Age of The Nerd
A haunting chill has just washed over horror fans: the official trailer for Shelby Oaks, the highly anticipated directorial debut of YouTube film critic turned filmmaker Chris Stuckmann, has arrived—setting the stage for a spine-tingling theatrical debut on October 3, 2025.
The newly released trailer offers a foreboding first look at the film’s unnerving tone. It centers on Mia Brennan (portrayed by Camille Sullivan), a documentarian thrust into obsession as she investigates her sister’s presumed death and begins to suspect something far darker—and possibly supernatural—was at play.
Shelby Oaks is shaping up to be a standout in this year’s fall horror slate—blending indie roots, creator passion, and gritty practical effects—with a trailer that promises creepiness and intrigue in equal measure.
