Age of The Nerd
It’s time to travel through time and history — STARZ is going big at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 with a jam-packed weekend of panels, sneak peeks, and unforgettable fan experiences for Outlander, its epic prequel Blood of my Blood, and the triumphant return of Spartacus in the brand-new series House of Ashur.
Outlander’s Final Season Gets the Hall H Treatment
Outlander fans, this is your moment. On Friday, July 25, STARZ takes over the legendary Hall H with a tribute to Outlander’s epic run and a thrilling preview of its eighth and final season. Expect heartfelt memories, behind-the-scenes stories, and an emotional look at how far Jamie and Claire’s love story has come over 11 unforgettable years.
The panel includes fan-favorites Sam Heughan (Jamie), Sophie Skelton (Brianna), and Richard Rankin (Roger), along with executive producers Matthew B. Roberts and Maril Davis. Hosting the conversation is the always dynamic Aisha Tyler. Whether you’ve been with the show since day one or just jumped through the stones recently, this is one panel no Outlander fan should miss.
Enter a New Era: Outlander: Blood of my Blood Unveiled
Right after the main event, Outlander fans will be treated to a full hour diving into the much-anticipated prequel series Blood of my Blood. Set in the turbulent times of WWI and 18th-century Scotland, the series explores the love stories of Jamie and Claire’s parents — yes, we’re finally getting their origin stories!
Stars Hermione Corfield, Jeremy Irvine, Jamie Roy, Harriet Slater and more will be on hand, along with the creative team, to give fans a glimpse into the beginnings of the Fraser and MacKenzie legacies. With fresh romances, historical intrigue, and that signature Outlander magic, Blood of my Blood premieres August 8 — but fans at SDCC will get a sneak peek first.
Ashur Rises in Spartacus: House of Ashur
Hold onto your togas — on Saturday, July 26, STARZ ignites the Indigo Ballroom with Spartacus: House of Ashur, the brand-new chapter in the Spartacus saga. This twisty new series imagines a brutal what-if: what if the infamous Ashur hadn’t died on Mount Vesuvius… and instead rose to power?
Nick E. Tarabay returns to his iconic role, joined by a new cast of fierce fighters, scheming nobles, and dangerous gladiators. Fans can expect a first look at the action-packed series and insight into what awaits Ashur in this new blood-soaked world. Moderated by Spartacus legend Liam McIntyre, the panel also features executive producer Steven S. DeKnight and cast members including Graham McTavish, Tenika Davis, and more.
The Party (and Chariots) Don’t Stop There
STARZ is also the presenting sponsor for Entertainment Weekly’s iconic Saturday night party — and they’re going all out. Expect themed activations, photo ops, and STARZ love throughout, especially for Outlander and Spartacus fans.
And don’t be surprised if you spot gladiators roaming the streets of San Diego — Spartacus: House of Ashur is rolling out Roman chariot-style pedicabs decked out with blood-splattered drivers, giving attendees a ride they’ll never forget.
