OASIS TAKES MANCHESTER BY STORM IN EPIC HOMECOMING SHOW!

Oasis mania exploded in Manchester tonight as the legendary band made a jaw-dropping return to their hometown, kicking off the first of five monumental nights at Heaton Park in front of a roaring crowd of 80,000 fans! By the end of this historic run, 400,000 people will have witnessed Oasis on their home turf — and tonight proved they’re just getting started.

Taking the stage at 8:15pm, the atmosphere was electric as Noel and Liam Gallagher were welcomed like true hometown heroes. Fans had journeyed from every corner of the globe — Japan, Costa Rica, North America, Ireland, Australia, and more — just to be part of this unforgettable opening night.

“This is the place,” Noel declared, to which Liam added, “Oasis vibes in the area. Manchester vibes in the area.” The crowd erupted. Goosebumps.

Noel sent hearts soaring with a dedication of “Half The World Away” to The Royle Family legends Caroline and Craig. Liam kept the tributes rolling, shouting out Manchester City’s iconic manager Pep Guardiola before launching into “D’You Know What I Mean?”

And the emotional high didn’t stop there. Heaton Park turned into a massive singalong as Noel led “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” followed by Liam’s heartfelt intro to “Wonderwall” with the words: “I adore you all. You’re beautiful!”

Everything about this show screamed next-level. The massive production featured record-breaking visuals — screens stretching 84 meters by 12 meters — the largest ever used at a UK concert, even topping the colossal setup from Cardiff’s Principality Stadium last weekend.

Meanwhile, Oasis is absolutely dominating the charts. Their greatest hits album Time Flies… 1994-2009 just hit #1 again for the first time since 2010. (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? has surged to #2, and Definitely Maybe has rocketed to #4. Not stopping there, the band has three songs in the Top 20 this week: fan-favorite “Acquiesce” hit a new peak at #17, while classics “Don’t Look Back in Anger” and “Live Forever” re-entered at #18 and #19, respectively.

Oh — and Morning Glory? is now officially 18x Platinum with over 5.4 million UK sales. Iconic.

With the Live ‘25 tour already blowing fans and critics away, Oasis is keeping the momentum going. A new live version of “Slide Away” from Cardiff’s kickoff show just dropped — and it’s glorious. [Listen HERE]

And for the die-hards: the 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Morning Glory drops October 3rd, and the Complete Studio Album Collection arrives August 22nd. Pre-orders are now live — don’t sleep on these!

Oasis is back — bigger, louder, and more beloved than ever.
