Netflix has unveiled the official trailer and cast for its upcoming animated series “Devil May Cry,” set to premiere on April 3, 2025.
The series is based on Capcom’s popular action-adventure video game franchise, which follows the demon hunter Dante in his quest to avenge his mother’s death by eliminating demonic threats.
The newly released trailer showcases high-octane action sequences, featuring Dante wielding his signature sword and dual pistols against various demonic adversaries. Notably, the trailer is set to Papa Roach’s “Last Resort,” evoking early-2000s nostalgia.
The voice cast includes Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante, Hoon Lee as the antagonist White Rabbit, Scout Taylor-Compton as Lady, and Robbie Daymond as Vergil.
Produced by Studio Mir, known for works like “The Legend of Korra” and “The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf,” the series is helmed by creator and showrunner Adi Shankar, who previously worked on Netflix’s “Castlevania.”
“Devil May Cry” will be available for streaming exclusively on Netflix starting April 3, 2025.
