Marvel’s First Family Launches Inaugural Trailer And Poster For ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ From The U.S. Space And Rocket Center

Marvel Studios unveiled the inaugural trailer for “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” today at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The event featured the film’s lead actors—Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach—presenting the trailer in front of the iconic Saturn V rocket. Fans worldwide joined via a Marvel livestream to witness the debut.

Set against a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic backdrop, the trailer introduces audiences to Marvel’s First Family:

  • Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic: Portrayed by Pedro Pascal.
  • Sue Storm/Invisible Woman: Played by Vanessa Kirby.
  • Johnny Storm/Human Torch: Enacted by Joseph Quinn.
  • Ben Grimm/The Thing: Brought to life by Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

The narrative centers on the team’s efforts to balance their superhero responsibilities with their familial bonds. They face a formidable challenge as they defend Earth from Galactus, portrayed by Ralph Ineson, and his enigmatic herald, the Silver Surfer, played by Julia Garner.

Notably, the film diverges from previous adaptations by forgoing the traditional origin story. Instead, it immerses viewers in a world where the Fantastic Four have already embraced their powers and public personas. The trailer offers glimpses of their abilities, their sleek Baxter Building headquarters, and teases the looming threat of Galactus.

Directed by Matt Shakman, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is slated for a theatrical release on July 25, 2025.
